  1. Can you check this query: We are using Schedule % complete and Duration % complete in updating our project. We notice that At summary level doesnt reflect the Schedule % complete despite that all activities were completed.Only the Duration % Complete shows the percentage value. Can you guide me on this.

    Thanks

    • Hello Dante,

Do you insert the resources i.e. labor/material/cost into Activity in Primavera? If not, it will not appear because there is no basis for system to calculate the weightage. As result, you can’t see the overall Schedule % vs Actual & complete. Hope this will help you. Cheers!

      • Thats good and timing just want to make sure
        my assumption was correct.
        Your great.

        Kind regards.

        Dante

  2. Can you check this Query: Our program is cost loaded and we used Duration type (Tab) Fix duration and unit times. If the activity duration will be extended beyond the schedule the labor cost will increase. Now our contract is lumpsum contract and that activity was extend due to unexpected event by the contractor. How to normalize the cost? Thanks again

  3. You have 2 options here:
    1) Choose Fixed Durations & Unit & % Complete Type is Duration. Go to Column -> add Percent Complete Type & change to every activity.
    2) Put the lump sum cost (material + labor) into Expenses.

    Good Luck!
